
Our rather meandering route took us to the beautiful calaque (rocky inlet) of Niolon which you can appreciate in the photo just above and also here. We had a nice midafternoon stop there for coffee at L'Ancre on their wooden terrace overlooking the small port - which also hosts a well-renowned scuba-diving school. Later we crossed the Rhône via ferry (a hoot!) called the Bacs de Barcarin, which you can see in the photo below.

Afterwards we stopped at Beaucaire (where Yves had once

Finally pulled into Uzès around 7pm tired but happy with our trip.
